Musayi District

The Musayi District is situated in the southern part of Kabul Province,Afghanistan.It borders with Chahar Asyab District to the West,Bagrami District to the North,Khaki Jabbar District to the East and Lowgar Province to the South.The population is 20 700(2006).The center is Musayi village,situated in the central part of the district.
The district, located at the south of Kabul, 25 km away from Kabul city with fair road access (1-hour car drive in rough road),formerly being a part of Chahar Asyab district, has been recognised as an independent district in 2001 year.This district is consist of 67 villages.The district has been almost fully destroyed during the war.
