[edit] Guinea-Bissau and Nigeria

According to the Guinea-Bissau article, that country is about 45% Muslim. Is it close enough to be colored yellow? Also, according to the U.S. State Department, Nigeria is around 50% Muslim, so I think it should be colored yellow also. Anyone agree? Picaroon9288 00:39, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Will do. ekrub-ntyh talk 01:08, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Should be done. ekrub-ntyh talk 01:14, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Chad and The Maldives

I'm sorry that I missed these the first time I viewed the map:

  • About half the population of Chad adheres to Islam, not a majority. Therefore, it should be yellow.
  • The Maldives, the small, vertical archipelago Southsouthwest of India, should be green, as the country is over 90% Muslim.

And I'm sorry that I can't figure out how the images work; otherwise, I'd do it myself. (Insert embarassed face here.) Picaroon9288 19:50, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

Done and done. ekrub-ntyh talk 20:29, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] the Philippines

I think you should color the Mindanao green as well.

[edit] Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania

Bosnia and Herzegovina has only 40% of Muslims, not 50% majority. Albania has 10% of Muslims. --Dijxtra 18:51, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Huh?

I might be missing something but arent majority and "at least 50%" the same thing? Unless you are suggesting that only countires with exactly 50% muslim population are yellow. 202.67.87.15 09:10, 9 December 2006 (UTC) Was not signed in for above comment. toenail 09:12, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] India

This is a really good map, but I wonder if someone has a map which shows the demographic spread of Islam that isn't necessarily restricted to state boundaries. In particular, I think a more representative map would show the high density of Muslims in northern India. Of course, on the current map this isn't apparent (obviously because the proportion isn;t high enough apropos the national total), even though India has the second largest Muslim population in the world (outside Indonesia).
