[edit] Welcome
Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and write articles, however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is Murd0c516). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.
Please note these points:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view to edit the article; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do that.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted texts, advertisement messages, and texts that are not related to that article. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism. A user who repeatedly vandalises articles will be blocked from editing.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.

One question... who is this? --Saint-Paddy 17:57, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What Wikipedia isn't
Wikipedia is not a scratchpad for the Internet, nor is it a place for random acts of vandalism. That's what Encyclopedia Dramatica was made for. If you wish to continue making silly edits, I'd recommend you perform them on the Jyllands-Posten Muhammed cartoons controversy article while yelling "ALLAH ACKBAR!". This will probably get you banned, though, considering how many of the vandals can't grasp the concept of the First Amendment.
In case you're wondering, I was the one who started the article in the first place, and I'd appreciate it if you'd hold Wikipedia to a higher standard. --Tokachu 23:58, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- It wasn't vandalization, half the shit on that article is accurate, whether you want to believe it or not. Besides, it was mostly CountyKid and mgross who did most of the edits. But whatever, go back to 4chan and slashdot, k? --Murd0c516 00:05, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, now I'm curious. What the hell article are you guys talking about? C4bl3Fl4m3 22:11, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
