The article says that it was not called Murray Bridge until 1924, but I have a birth certificate from 1897 listing my Great Grandmother as being born at Murray Bridge.

Just wondering if there as an area near there known as Murray Bridge in 1897. There must have been some sort of official area known by the name in 1897, or else they wouldn't have used it on a birth certificate.

Does anyone know any more information regarding a Pre 1924 Murray Bridge area in South Australia?
