the school is almost exclusively known as 'Portal' (which, unlike the word portal [1], is pronounced with stress on the first syllable).

Removed the section in parenthesis, since the English word "portal" is pronounced with stress on the first syllable. 66.92.237.111 18:47, 28 August 2005 (UTC)

Portal moved so Collins elementary will move there, so Lawson middle school will be at the old collins elementary school

[edit] Cleanup November 28

I had to do some cleanup and wikification to this page.

  • Removed phone number. Wikipedia does not provide contact information, such as telephone numbers. That properly belongs on your website.
  • Removed excess links per the Manual of Style. Link only to things that are relevant to the discussion. There is no point in linking common words "black," "white," "song," "six," "lunch," "word," etc.
  • Removed the poems. The childrens' poems are very nice but they are not encyclopedic material. They properly belong on your website and not in the Wikipedia.
