Murumba Werunga

Murumba Werunga has served on the Kenya National Assembly for many years becoming Deputy Clerk. He has also served as founding Clerk of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).

Outside of Kenya Mr. Werunga has made substantial contribution to the development of parliamentary institutions with regard to capacity building, institutional development and review of operational processes and structures for effective parliaments. He has traveled worldwide as a Resource Person and Consultant.

He has also spoken extensively on parliamentary procedures conducting outreach mechanisms and providing tools of oversight. Mr. Werunga has worked with countries to create Rules of Procedures for their respective legislatures, among them, the Transitional Parliament of Somalia as well as the Pan-African Parliament.
