Murray Park is the name of Rangers' training facility in Auchenhowie, Milngavie, on the outskirts of Glasgow. The complex was first proposed by the then manager Dick Advocaat when he arrived at the club in 1998. The South Korea national football team, then managed by Dick Advocaat, hired the facilities for their training before the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Murray Park is often used by visiting club and national teams playing in Scotland. £14 million pounds was spent on the facilities, and it was named after the chairman Sir David Murray. The complex has since produced first team players like Charlie Adam, Alan Hutton, Stevie Smith and Chris Burke.
