Murray McLauchlan

Murray McLauchlan (born June 30, 1948) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist, and harmonica player.

Born in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland, he emigrated to Canada with his family when he was five.

He won Juno Awards on several occasions throughout the 1970s and 1980s.

In 1993, he was made a Member of the Order of Canada.

He is married to Denise Donlon and they have a son, Duncan. McLauchlan also has a daughter from a previous marriage who was named Amelia at birth, but changed her name as a teenager to Sarah (no relation to the singer of the same name).
