Murray Lerner is an American documentary and experimental film director and producer.

- Festival (1967)
- Documentary about the Newport Folk Festival, filmed over a number of years in the 1960s.
- Message to Love (1970)
- Documentary of the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival.
- From Mao to Mozart: Isaac Stern in China (1980)
- This won the Oscar for best documentary. It was about Western culture breaking into the Far East.
- Magic Journeys (1982)
- This was created for the Epcot Center, and was the first 3D motion picture to feature computer generated 3D animation. It also featured a Sherman Brothers title song throughout the duration of the film.
