Murigen

In Celtic mythology, Murigen was a goddess of lakes, and associated with flooding.^[1][2] She is also known as Morgan, probably a specific personification of morgens, the Welsh term for water sprites.^[3] The watery etymology of Murigen (and Morgan) indicates that the war-goddess Morrigan was a separate and distinct goddess.^[4]
