Murdock Middle School, is a suburban based middle school located in Port Charlotte, Florida. It was beginning to be constructed in 1986 and open for its first official school year in 1988, as of May 2007 it will be graduating it 18th 8 grade class. The schools education basis is very oriented around the Sun Shine State Standards which are the basis of the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) which all three grades Sixth - Eighth take every year in March.
