Murasame class destroyer (1958)

The old Murasame class destroyer (1958) is a successor to the Ayanami class destroyer and like its predecessor, its main task is ASW, but its improved weaponry also enable it to perform anti-surface warfare better.

  • Murasame (launched on July 31, 1958 and deleted on March 23, 1988)
  • Yudachi (launched on July 31, 1958 and deleted in 1987)
  • Harusame (launched on June 18, 1959 and deleted in May 1989)
