Although I am a newbie as of late October 2004, I am an experienced writer and semi-experienced editor. I hope to make Wikipedia a more legible place. I plan to spend most of my time in the Speculative Fiction, Webcomic and Anime sections, when I'm not copyediting poor English everywhere.

I, like many geeks before me, am interested in a wide variety of topics. In approximate order, my favourites are:

• sequential art, especially the gritty details of comic art, comic creation and webcomics

At this point, I am web-publishing a weekly web-comic called Gothbunnies

• speculative fiction books
• writing
• Wing Chun kung fu, which I practice
• bicycle advocacy
• philosophy

My hobbies tend to run on a cycle, and in the past have included:

• Anime and manga
• various aspects of computing science and internet culture
• role playing games, both paper and digital
• gardening and plant cultivation
• fan art and fan fiction
