Munteni-Buzău is a commune in Ialomiţa County, Romania. It is situated at 89 km from Bucharest on the european highway E60. It has a population of about 9000 people and it's neighbors are the city Căzăneşti and the Sărăţeni village. The mayor is Gheorghe Soare of the PNL party.
