Twickenham was an urban district and later a municipal borough in Middlesex, England from 1894 to 1965.
It was created in 1894 as an urban district by the Local Government Act 1894, covering just the ancient Twickenham parish. It was incorporated as a municipal borough in 1926, and its offices were situated at York House, Twickenham.
The urban districts of Hampton, Hampton Wick and Teddington were added in 1934 under a County Review Order.
The district was abolished in 1965 with the creation of Greater London. It became part of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, along with the Municipal Borough of Barnes and the Municipal Borough of Richmond, both from Surrey.
