Munich Markets

Munich Markets (German: Markthallen München) is the future name of the merged municipal company, which will inlude the Wholesale Market Munich and the Munich Slaughterhouse. The premises are situated in the Munich districts Sendling and Ludwigsvorstadt

The idea to merge these two adjoining municipal companies existed for a long time. On the 1st of December the city council decided about the merger, which will become effective on the 1st of January 2007.
