Munich International School

Munich International School (MIS) is a private school located south of Munich, Germany in a small town near Starnberg, surrounded by vast open areas of countryside. MIS teaches students from all over the world from EC (Early Child - years 4-5) to grade 12. Students travel from a large area around Munich to attend the school.
MIS is a recognized International Baccalaureate (IB) school. Lessons are taught in English, and German is the compulsory second language. MIS offers Spanish and French as third language options.
MIS offers all three programmes of the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) - International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP), International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP), IB Diploma programme (IBDP).
From MIS students graduate to top international universities such as the United States Naval Academy, Brown University, Harvard University, the University of Oxford, Princeton University, Stanford University, Cambridge University, Yale University, and the University College of London.

The school seeks to inspire in its students an international awareness, and a strong feeling of community responsibility.[1] MIS inspires students to be interculturally aware and achieve their potential within the school's environment.
Students also have to do a certain amount of CAS hours (Communtity and Service) They need 30 hours a year to get the grade 'aceptable', and more than 40 to get the grade 'outstanding'. Community and service is designed to widen students' awareness of local and global issues and teach students to actively participate in their community.
MIS has lots of children from rich and famos parents. example the owner of BMW, The boss of the German theater. Children learn alot about nature and get a big choose of many afterschool activities and in the winter you can signup for ski saturday where you ski each Saturday (7 ski Saturdays a year) and also snowboard and on the last one there is a big race where each groupmember (1-40 beginners on 1 and experts on 40 usually adults)compets the other group members for the first place.
