In Chile, the Spanish term municipalidad is used to refer to the legal entity which is responsible for the smallest administrative division of the country called a comuna. The municipality may contain several urban and rural areas.
If there is a settlement (usually a town or city) with the same name as the municipality, this fact should be reflected in the naming of the item in the list below as "Name, Chile" in accordance with the Chilean place naming convention used in Wikipedia
