The multibreast fetish is a sexual interest in the concept of a person (typically female, of course, although not always) having more than two breasts. These can range from one extra breast to almost any number, typically on the chest but sometimes located in more exotic parts of the body. Artists, writers and cosplayers with this fetish sometimes combine it with the furry fetish, transgender themes or other fetishes.

The actual condition of having more than two breasts is surprisingly common in reality. The condition is known as accessory breasts, "polymastia," "supernumerary breasts," or "mammae erraticae." These extra breasts may appear with or without nipples and/or areolae. A related condition, in which extra nipples form, is called "polythelia" or "supernumerary nipples." Estimates as to the incidence of polymastia and polythelia range from one to six percent of the general population.

[edit] Multiple breasts in fiction

In mythology, attributes are exaggerated or multiplied to emphasize their efficacy. For example, Priapus has been depicted with an oversized penis, and Artemis of Ephesus has been portrayed as having tier upon tier of breasts. Priapus' oversize penis underscores his virility and his fertility, while Artemis' tiers of breasts highlight her ability to nurture.

This motif is also used in motion pictures, many of which are popular with multibreast fetishists. Often, science-fiction or fantasy films will spice up crowd scenes by including a multiple-breasted woman, typically a mutant or an alien. Both Total Recall, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and The Sword and the Sorcerer, starring Lee Horsley, feature female characters with three, rather than two, breasts. The Total Recall character is a mutant prostitute. The Sword and the Sorcerer character is a dancer. The breasts of the Total Recall character are side by side. Those of The Sword and the Sorcerer character are in tiers, with two in the normal positions and the third centered below the upper pair. The 1987 horror film Necropolis also features a character with extra breasts, as does The Big Bang. A multi-breasted, feline, alien dancer is briefly seen in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.

In The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Eccentrica Gallumbits, the Triple-Breasted Whore of Eroticon 6 is a frequently alluded-to character.

Fans of this fetish often create their own multibreast art and fiction, much of which is published online.
