Mullapudi Venkata Ramana (born 1931) is a Telugu story writer. He is especially known for his hilarious style of writing. He also created a child character called Budugu.

Mullapudi is also the dialogue, story and screenplay writer for many of the movies that came as a Bapu-Ramana combination. He contributed the writing part for Saakshi (first movie of Bapu-Ramana), Panchadaara Chilaka, Mutyamanta Muggu, Goranta Deepam, Manavuri Paandavulu, Rajadhi Raju, Pelli Pustakam, Mr. Pellam and Radha Gopalam. He is versatile in penning both heart-touching and rib-tickling dialogues.

He was awarded the prestigious Raja-Lakshmi Literary Award for the year 1995 from Sri Raja-Lakshmi Foundation, Chennai
