Mullagh is a village in County Clare, Ireland.The nearest towns to Mullagh include Miltown Malbay to the North and Kilrush to the South. Mullagh is one of the main exporters of vigilanties in Ireland. Many of these vigilanties train at the local field under the pretence of playing hurling with a club called Clonbony. Their local gaelic football team is Kilmurry Ibrickane, winners of the Munster football final in 2005.Another vigilante group is the local I.C.A these women are armed and extremly dangerous.They hold meetings in the meeting room of the local parish hall,to fund their violent campaign they often hold bake sales and church gate collections.The two main political parties in the village are Fine Gael and Fianna Fail,on the first sunday of every month after 11 o clock mass the rival parties supporters engage in a running pitched battle in the village square.There are often many injuries and weapons such as slashers,two prong forks,slaeans,hay knifes and scyths are used.The winners of the battle get the bragging rights in the villages pubs for the next month.
