House teams The student body is broken down into four house teams which are named for Nobel Prize Winners. The house teams (and their colours) are:  *Churchill (Yellow) *Luther King (Blue) *Curie (Red) *Smith (Green)  The school's motto is "Abeunt Studia in Mores", meaning "studies build one's character."  The School is split into 2 parts: the Junior School and the Upper School. The Upper School is further divided into the Middle and Senior School. The Junior School is principalled by Mr Greg Cusbert. The Upper School's principal is Mr Eddie de Beer, who is also the Assistant Head. The Middle School Vice-Principal of the Middle School is Ms Jessica Gleig, and the Vice-Principal of the Senior School is Ms Karyn Mitchell. The current Headmaster of the school is Mr Tony Macoun. Previous headmasters have been Mrs Linda Hamer (the Founding Head) and Mr Simon Bruce-Lockhart.  Mulgrave school has changed locations through time. It began in a portable building, and then moved to the "North Shore Winter Club" in North Vancouver from 1993-2001. The school has now reached its maximum size of 750 students and is in a stunning facility overlooking the entire city, at the base of cypress mountain.  It is an IB World School, and it teaches the IB's Primary Years Programme and Diploma Programme.  (The Middle Years Programme is coming soon.) These programmes ensure international standards of achievement and a dedication to action and service.  Mulgrave is also known for its exceptional pastoral care of students.
