Mukhrani

The Principality of Mukhrani was given to Prince Bagrat the brother of King David X of Kartli. The Principality lasted until its annexation by the Russian Empire in 1801. The head of the Princely house from 1957 until 1977, Prince Irakli Bagrationi declared himself to be head of the Royal House of Georgia.
