Mukandgarh is a city and a municipality in Jhunjhunun district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.It is part of Shekhawati region. It lies a few km from Nawalgarh.
Mukungarh has a magnificent fort, which is now converted into a resort hotel, with all modern amenities. There are havelis of Kanoria,Ganeriwal and Saraf, which are a fine example of fresco paintings.

Mukandgarh has an average literacy rate of 55%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 68%, and female literacy is 43%.
