Mugeni (Hungarian: Bögöz) is a commune in Harghita County, Romania comprising 8 villages:

  • Aluniş/Székelymagyaros
  • Beta/Béta
  • Dejuţiu/Décsfalva
  • Dobeni/Székelydobó
  • Lutiţa/Agyagfalva
  • Mătişeni/Mátisfalva
  • Mugeni/Bögöz
  • Tăietura/Vágás
    • As of 2004 the villages of Porumbenii Mari (Nagygalambfalva) and Porumbenii Mici form the commune of Porumbeni (Galambfalva).
    • The village of Beteşti (Betfalva) merged with the town of Cristuru Secuiesc (Székelykeresztúr) in 2004.

The commune has an absolute Székely (Hungarian) majority. According to the 2002 census it has a population of 5,869 of which 98.82% or 5,800 are Hungarian.
