Mueller College is a co-educational, Christian Independent primary and secondary school (Preschool - Year 12) located in Redcliffe, Queensland, Australia. The school currently, as of 2006, caters for almost 1500 students.

The school was founded in 1990 by Redcliffe Christian Assembly [1]. After one year in the Redcliffe Show Grounds, the College was relocated to its current campus at Rothwell in 1991. It is situated on the Redcliffe Peninsula, 30 minutes drive north from the Brisbane airport, Queensland.

Mueller College claims to promote a seamless education from Preschool to Year 12. For curriculum and organisational purposes the school divides grade levels into the following 3 bands:


  • Primary - Years 1 to 6 - - - - - - - for students aged 5 to 11 / 12
  • Middle School - Years 7 to 9 - - for students aged 12 to 14 / 15
  • Secondary -Years 10 - 12 - - - -for students aged 14 to 17 / 18


In general pupils at Mueller College achieve above average academic results. The school website details that Queensland Curriculum Studies (QCS) results for students, particularly over the past 5 years (2000-2005), have been well above the Queensland State average, with students gaining top OP (Overall Position) scores for entrance into University. Further, several senior students have been awarded prestigious scholarships in recent years, including the "TJ Ryan Medal and Scholarship for Academic Excellence and Leadership", and the "University of Queensland's Dean's Scholarship for Accelerated study in Scientific Research".

There are three sporting houses at Mueller College, each named after islands within the South East Queensland area. They compete against each other in events such as swimming and athletics, though Primary students will have their own events separating themselves from the high school. Also the classifying of students depends on the first letter of their last name. These houses are:

    Colour: Blue (Primary School) Red (Secondary School)
  • Morteon
    Colour: Yellow
  • Stradbroke
    Colour: Green
