I'm sorry for wigging out on you yesterday. I was being an ass. Thanks for the additional info you've given me on how Wikipedia works.
I really had no idea that Nadia Turner had previously been deleted, & it still seems incredibly arbitrary to delete that one contestant page. That's why I flipped out. Now, I'm thinking pretty seriously about the larger issues here. It does seem odd the degree to which people use this as a general fansite for whatever is current. Ventifax 23:05, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- Don't worry about it, it's not a problem :) Articles are usually nominated for deletion in accordance with the judgment of individual editors rather than by a systematic process; if a particular editor feels an article doesn't meet WP's inclusion standards he or she will list it at AFD. That's why it can seem (and, in fact, often is) arbitrary. --Muchness 00:05, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
