muCommander is a multi-platform orthodox file manager written completely in Java that features a Norton Commander inspired interface. This program is capable to run on any operating system that supports the Java language.
Most notable features of muCommander are:
- Bookmarking local and remote locations
- Browsing, creating, uncompressing ZIP, TAR and GZip archives
- Customizing its look and feel to user demands
- Multiple windows support
- Virtual filesystems such as FTP, SFTP, SMB and HTTP/HTTPS
