Location of Muanda in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Muanda (Coordinates: 5°56′S 12°21′E) is a seaside resort lying on the Atlantic Ocean coast of the Democratic Republic of Congo at the mouth of the Congo River. It is situated in the province of Bas-Congo, and has a population of 50,000. The town has an airport, IATA Code FZAG (5° 55' 51S 12° 21' 6E), and is well-known for its beaches.

The town is near the port of Banana.
