Mu Ying

Mu Ying was one of the founding generals of the Ming Dynasty.
He was one of the few capable generals who survived the massacre of Zhu Yuanzhang. He and his descendants guarded Yunnan (a province near Vietnam) until the end of the Ming dynasty.
The founding emperor, Zhu Yuanzhang employed Muslim commanders in his army: Chang Yuqun, Lan Yu, Ding Dexing, Mu Ying and more.[1]
