Hello, you left a "welcome" after I edited some Turkey pages, and later reacted when someone corrected my supposedly writing "External Links" with a capital in the L of links. Thanks. As a matter of fact I copied the command style for a heading External Links I found in some article for some more pages, so all L's there will be my "fault".
I wonder: how did you see that I was editing to start with, and how did you know the Ankara L was yours rather then mine? Do you Wikipedians check all changes every day, or is there a warning system somewhere?
I will look deeper into the introductions, the lessons and all that, but it may take some time before I have incorporated all into my system.
Bye, Dosseman 08:05, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Hi Again, Dosseman. When you modify a page (even if you put a single dot) and if you haven't changed the default, you start to "watch" the page--that is, any further modification (even a single dot) to the page will be tracked and you can see all the modifications to your watched pages when you login, by clicking the "my watchlist" link on upper right. You can also add a page you haven't modified to your "my watchlist" by clicking the "watch" tab on the top of the article. You are right, this is some sort of a "warning system" of some sort, as there are unnecessary/sub-optimal/vandalism modifications to the pages you created and/or care for and you want to correct the mistakes asap before they become an integral part of the article in question and a lot more people will have gotten the information they'd saught by reading it.
- Ankara article was a mess when I took it upon myself to clean and expand my hometown, so I assumed it was my "fault" not to change External Links to External links.
- One can change a mistake by making the modification and putting the reason in the "Edit summary" before submitting the edit. Or choose to make a big deal about it and warn the editor in the user's Talk page.
- It will take some time, and may seem daunting at first, to contribute. The philosophy here is "Be bold". Everyone's learning. It is a journey, not a step. So enjoy it, and welcome again! mu5ti/talk 16:03, Apr 16, 2005 (UTC)

Hi there. Can you provide a source and/or licence information for Image:Dallaire.jpg? ~~----
-
- Of course. The Carr Center for Human Rights Policy. I am in the process of obtaining rights to somewhat better, but copyrighted photos, in the hopes of making them copylefted.
"particularly, its Western members such as the United States, France and the United Kingdom) responded."
PLUS
"most first-world countries including France, Belgium, and the United States declined to intervene or speak out against the planned massacres."
EQUALS
Repetitious sentences.
[edit] Image source
Thank you for uploading Image:AnkaraCat.jpg. Its copyright status is unclear, so it may have to be deleted. Please leave a note on the image page about the source of the image. Thank you. --Ellmist 20:28, 5 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- Changed the image. I couldn't verify the copyright status and I am too sick right now to track down the photographer and ask for permission, as I do with most of my image uploads. Thanks. mu5ti/✏ 00:11, Mar 6, 2005 (UTC)

- There is an external link put by another user as to the origin of the image, and it can be clearly seen and clicked on. For users too busy to put the copyright tag based on that link, I did it myself. mu5ti/talk 05:59, August 27, 2005 (UTC)

Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there! -- user:zanimum

You'll note I didn't add it back under "Releases" :) I think it makes more sense to keep that milestone-only, but to keep the factually proper "latest stable release" up-to-date with the latest, well, stable release. Thanks for understanding, and I'll see ya around.--chris.lawson 18:09, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
