From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
MtG Editor is a tool created by Mr. Weikopf. It creates images of self-designed Magic: The Gathering cards, and is one of the two main editors of it's type, the other being Magic Set Editor

[edit] MtG Editor
This editor was the first, and now will be the only editor. It could create only Magic cards, but it came with a number of extra features, such as reminder text for virtually every keyword in existence, the ability to create keywords and a template for purple-coloured cards. There did not seem to be any plans to expend MtG Editor beyond its original capabilities, and any plans that might have existed were ended by the Cease and Desist sent to the creator
[edit] MtG Editor 2
When the creator informed everyone of Mtg Editor's warnings from Wizards, he said that he had been working on this program, and that now it would not be finished. It is unknown as to what it would have contained beyond the first.
[edit] Cease and Desist
The legality of Mtg Editor until recently, was not questioned. However the creator of the editor, Mr. Weikopf, was sent a Cease and Desist to cease to distribute and use the Editor. Now it has been removed from the site, and it's creator backed down without a fight.
