MSTAR

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Man-portable Surveillance and Target Acquisition Radar (MSTAR) is a 30kg, all-weather battlefield radar usually deployed by Artillery Observers to track fall of shot. It is capable of tracking helicopters, slow moving fixed-wing aircraft, vehicles and troops as well as providing ground relief maps on its electro-luminescent display. Map grids may also be overlayed.

It may be split into three packs to be carried or mounted on a Warrior Observation Post vehicle.
