The Emerald Seas sailed from the Port of Miami during the 70's on cruises to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean / Mexico. Operated by Eastern Steamship Lines, it was one of the first cruise ships to offer moderately priced short duration (3-5 days)cruise vacations.The ship later was owned by and operated by Admiral Cruise Lines. I heard that it is now a floating Hotel but where I do not know.
