- Hi Mrtobacco, I am interested in that story at Bambu about the alleged carcinogen scandal, however I can't read Spanish. Did you realize that the link isn't in English? I don't feel that is much appropriate for English Wikipedia, although I suppose it's preferred over no source at all. Also, when I did a Google search, I found no information related to such a scandal involving Smoking in Spain and adding carcinogens to their product. Additionally, I have added a new category to the article. If you feel that "cannabis" and "tobacco" are relevant, please add them to the article rolling papers. Thanks. - GilliamJF 18:52, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Sorry that you no comprende but my wife is Mexican so I've learned quite a bit in the past 25 years!! In terms of confirming the Bambu/Smoking thing I have read 5 articles so far and all say the same thing dude.

And there is a lot more out there too. I think the problem is "Esparto" which causes like "Esparto gas" which is possibly filled with toxins. I've never heard of anyone using Esparto in their paper before. Usually it's flax, hemp, rice, and pulp. Here is something from 1996 in Spain that says Esparto causes problems; http://www.amat.es/convenio/circulares/2003/DICIEMBRE/CIRCULAR%20N%C2%BA%20114-03/Circular%20n%C2%BA%20114-03.pdf
- Well, thanks for the further information. What a strange story it is. And the executives at Smoking are facing possible time in prison? I was abroad in Europe and often bought Smoking brand products (extra wide papers) while there. Wow, it's just such a bizzare story. - GilliamJF 22:34, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Page protection
Hi Mrtobacco. I removed the {{sprotect}} tag from Rolling papers because the tag is only really used by admins after a page has been protected. Adding the tag before protection is usually counter-productive. If you want to request page protection, either list the page at WP:RPP, or contact an admin such as User:Heah who offered to protect it above. -- zzuuzz (talk) 09:17, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Reverted Again
I read your post on the Sprotect and see what you are talking about. I reverted the Vandalism you mentioned back to your original versions. Good Luck ! --66.38.129.154 20:29, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Looking to Trade
Anyone know where I can trade for some more Camel Brand rolling papers? I need the new 2006 style pack for my collection!
[edit] lost society
hiya. well, semi-protection isn't really justified unless it's happening a few times a day. otherwise it's best just to revert him; right now it's like once a week. --heah 18:51, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Blunts
That wasn't a quote from me, I was reverting someones deletion of it due to the reasoning they used in the edit summary. If you want to remove it because of a lack of references, please do so. ReverendG 17:51, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Minnesota meetup
A meetup of Wikipedians in Minnesota is proposed: please stop by the discussion page if interested. Jonathunder 22:44, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
Got it! I hope to be there :) --Mrtobacco 14:36, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Great! Just a reminder: Meetup October 29, one o'clock, Mall of America. Jonathunder 16:05, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
(removed some gibberish written in poor English and moved to anonymous poster's page - very strange dude)
[edit] Blocking vandals
I'm afraid the blocking policy requires at least three warnings and then vandalism after a final warning. I can't block somebody who only appears to have edited twice. Sorry. TimVickers 01:03, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Editing the page Camel (cigarette)
I noticed in one of your edit summaries that you say you work for the company that makes these cigarettes. Because of that, I'd like to remind you to be careful to remain completely neutral when editing Camel (cigarette). Remember, Wikipedia is not for advertising, and it should not favor any side. Therefore, it might be a good idea to limit yourself when editing the article and only do things such as copyediting, or at least not make any major changes to the article. - I understand and I only wanted to correct some minor points. If you review my edits you will see that they are unbiased, at least in my biased opinion :) --Mrtobacco 00:33, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] would you like to inform me what this message means
check out this fake rant below from a guy who 'clearly' works for a clear paper co:
would you like to inform me what this message means
Please do not vandalise the Clear Rolling Papers page. Your edits are clearly just vandalism and should be refrained.
--Mrtobacco 00:36, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
explain to me how my changes are vandalism??
All i stated were facts, that there are numerous brands out there besides the hbi brands that you listed, then i listed the brands which were readily available on ebay (do a search under tobacciana for clear rolling papers) On top of those issues the interleaving process makes it far easier to roll because it leaves a little ridge to hold my tobacco. your comment about them leaving a ridge and being oval is due to in my opinion your inability to roll and that is another biased opinion NOT needed on the page, to be honest it is far better than all those crappy sheets that are too thick and not as pliable as the chrome or the crystal. (NOTICE how i did not include my opinion in the posting about my displeasure with Glass, Aleda, Klear, Trip, Pure, Rainforest Wraps, Ice, Invisible?) explain that buddy!!! Are you affiliated with hbi and that is why you are deleting peoples postings? I have looked over your history and there seems to be a lot of conflict from you, also see you are having problems with other rival rolling paper companies (bambu & pure hemp). what exactly is your deal, i have posted a few times updating the site informing people that there are more brands than you are publishing on line and you keep deleting them. that to me seems like you are censoring my freedom of speech and for that i will fight. freedom of speech is a fundamental right that you cannot govern. i am sorry you are not cool with my content but all of it is factual. please repost my content otherwise i will go to the wikipedia hosts and file a grievance of biased editing and have this resolved myself.

And now here comes the pain, in the form of truth...
Um, nice try but EVERY POST YOU EVER DID IS ABOUT CLEAR ROLLING PAPERS (check your contributions). You are clearly just trying to promote clear papers, based on your posts I'd say you work for the Chrome guy. Post whatever grevience you want, but you're full of doody and definitely working for one of the Clear paper companies. Here are your contributions (not a very smart tricky guy...)

Gee, ya think you work for a clear rolling paper company? I wonder why a layman would think that?
If you're not then quit this silly stuff above and POST SOME REAL REFERENCES SUCH AS I AND OTHERS HAVE DONE IN THE ARTICLE. Quit trying to change the text to promote just one brand. The brands posted in this article are the first ones we all found - and the ones featured in rollingpapers.net. There aren't any other big brands out there worth mentioning. I'm fine with removing the reference to all brands, but we still need to cite the ones that put up false and incorrect text.
Quit the games, WIKI IS NOT A PLACE FOR YOU TO POST YOUR ADVERTISING. I have fought off the likes of you and your games before. No I don't work for any paper company (unlike you). I know why your mind goes there though, because you do work for one (or are related to one). This is like the Bambu guy trying to post his ad text all over again...
