Hi. I'm a 'mature' student of policy studies. I've lived variously in south, east and central London and for a while in Leeds. I returned to studies in 2005 having worked for around ten years for various companies including a software developer, a pension fund and for local government. My background is in print media and direct marketing which expanded over time into content management and public relations. I was a skilled proof reader at one stage but I am getting out of practice.

[edit] Things I'm working on (April 2007)

I should be less available during April and May, due to other commitments.

  1. Wikipedia:WikiProject London/Assessment
  2. Create and expand History of local government in London
  3. Reformat List of places in London into gazetteer style.
  4. Get other List of places in... articles upto basic standard (as List of places in Kent).
  5. Start or expand articles on the various hundreds that occupied the area that is now London.
  6. Complete roll out of template:Infobox UK place.
  7. Improve the London borough and predecessor district articles.
  8. Get images of all the town halls of the London boroughs and their predecessor districts.
  9. Get images for Wikipedia:WikiProject London, starting with east, central and south London, and work round the rest.
  10. Use AWB to clean up links to UK related disambiguation pages.
  11. Improve and add citations to UK related articles.
  12. Improve Thames Gateway related articles, starting with London Riverside section.
  13. Update by district and verify Category:People from London articles and some other places in England.
  14. Very early stages of a combined UK division infobox.
  15. Expansion of UK geography related articles.
