IMDb profile

Mrs. Winterbourne is a 1996 romantic comedy/drama starring Shirley MacLaine, Ricky Lake, and Brendan Fraser. This movie is about Connie Doyle, a young pregnant woman who finds herself in the hospital after a tragic train crash. There she is mistakenly identified as a Patricia Winterbourne, a wealthy widow whose husband just died in the same train crash. She comes to live with the rich family of her deceased "husband", but just when everything seems to be going her way, the real father of her baby shows up and ruins everything. It is loosely based on the Cornell Woolridge novel I married a Dead Man, which has already been filmed in Hollywood as No Man of Her Own (1950) starring Barbara Stanwyck.
