MRPU

A Medical Readiness Processing Unit (MRPU) is an battalion level entity within the United States Army designated for National Guard and Reserve Component soldiers who have been injured or developed severe illnesses while on active duty. The primary duty of the MRPU is to insure that soldiers assigned receive the proper medical care and are returned to full duty status before returning to their respective National Guard or Reserve Component stations.
