When his astrologer uncle (Satish Kaushik) predicts a favorable future for Raja (Akshay Kumar), he decides to nothing until the prediction comes true. When he meets Shalu (Juhi Chawla) the daughter of a millionaire (Kadar Khan) he decides his predicted future has arrived. However his lazy lifestyle does not meet with his future father-in-laws standards, and he insists that Raja does some hard work for a change.

- In the title song of "Akela hain Mr. Khiladi", it is clearly shown that the shooting of that song has taken place in Ontario, Canada. Some parts of it are taken at the Niagara Falls, while the other 75% of the song is shot near the famous Square One mall in Mississauga. The Central library and other buildings near are shown. One of the songs was shot inside BCE Place in Toronto.
