[edit] Plot Summary
John Farley (Seann William Scott) is a successful self-help author, but when he returns home to visit his mother, Beverly (Susan Sarandon), he finds out that she is engaged to his old gym teacher, Mr. Woodcock. Back in elementary school, Woodcock would humilate Farley, and made fun of his weight- even making him do pull ups in only his underwear. Still traumatized, Farley sets out to make sure his mother doesn't marry his old teacher, and even goes to great lengths in order for that to happen.
[edit] Trivia
Sean William Scott's co-star in both of their most famed cinematic roles (The American Pie Trilogy), Eddie Kaye Thomas, is currently starring as a character named Mr. Woodcock on the FOX sitcom 'Til Death.
