Catchphrases His habit of guffawing whenever he says a name that would considered crude humor.

Mr. Smartypants is a fictional character created for the Warner Bros. animated series Histeria! Voiced by Rob Paulsen, he is a shy genius who wears exceedingly large pants (hence the "pants" in his name) and spouts various tidbits of knowledge (hence the "smarty" in his name). Therefore, he seems to be the most intelligent of the Histeria! characters.

Nevertheless, his intelligence does not stop him from being as silly as his fellow cast members. He frequently giggles at crude humor coming from the names he has been chosen to describe (such as Thomas Crapper and the planet Uranus), and he often literally pulls things from out of his pants. These traits, especially the latter, are a frequent victim of the threats by network censor Lydia Karaoke, whom he is usually at odds with.

In a piece of irony, Mr. Smartypants appears to harbor romantic feelings for the less intelligent Miss Information. This is shown in a game show sketch, based off of The Dating Game, featured in the episode "The Know-It-Alls". After Miss Information turns down all her other potential suitors in this sketch, Mr. Smartypants is the last one to appear, and he wins her favor by presenting her a bouquet of roses.
