"Mr. Monk and the Garbage Strike" is the second episode of the fifth season of the TV series Monk.

In the episode, garbage collectors strike, leaving an incredible amount of garbage all over the city. Monk becomes increasingly neurotic, causing him to make several mistakes on a case involving a political candidate and a murder, including having a theory that Alice Cooper was the murderer, which was wrong.
