Mr Monk and the Private Eye is the 5th episode in the 5th season in the television series Monk.

The episode starts off with a man killing his wife. Natalie decides to start a private eye business with Monk. Although Monk objects, Natalie rents a big office downtown. After a couple days, they finally get their first client. She wants them to find the fender-bender that damaged her car.
