In the Star Trek fictional universe, Mr. Homn is a manservant and travel companion to Lwaxana Troi, a member of the Betazed aristocracy and Deanna Troi's mother. Homn is notable for his great height (7 foot or 213 cm), penchant for consuming considerable quantities of alcohol (without apparent inebriation), and tendency to be silent to the point where he was believed to be mute (although he has had one onscreen line of dialogue: "Thank you for the drinks"). He also seems to possess abnormal strength; effortlessly hefting a suitcase with one hand that Commander Riker and Captain Jean-Luc Picard each strained to carry with both hands. Mr. Homn was portrayed in Star Trek: The Next Generation by Carel Struycken.
In the events of the short story "The Ceremony of Innocence in Drowned" in the anthology Tales of the Dominion War, it is revealed that Mr. Homn became a casualty of the Dominion War when Betazed was invaded by the Jem'Hadar. Events on the short story are not considered part of Star Trek canon.
