Mr. Happy

Mr. Happy

Mr Happy is perhaps the most famous, well-known and popular of all the Mr Men, series of books, by Roger Hargreaves. He is also the most simple looking, being merely a bright yellow circle with a wide smile. He is numbered as 3, although was originally placed 10th. He is from Happyland.

Mr Happy routinely seems to be in charge of the other Mr Men, but this is up for debate. If he isn't, he would be a perfect candidate as he seems to be able to keep calm under difficult circumstances and help others in need.

[edit] Story

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Mr Happy has quite a simplistic story, as do most of the other characters. It involved him discovering Mr. Miserable and teaching him, bit by bit, to be happy. Mr. Miserable is the exact spitting image of Mr Happy, except for the fact he frowned rather than smiled. He did not have a book of his own.
