[edit] The man who made the Clampetts rich
He appeared throughout the series on an occasional basis, both in the hills and occasionally visiting the Clampetts in Beverly Hills. Mr. Brewster worked for the O.K. Oil Company, and had bought the original land that Jed and his family lived on outside of Bugtussle.
He originally resided in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but later relocated to Los Angeles when he married his wife, Edythe. In later seasons, he and Edythe adopted a child. In the first season of the series, he was a romantic interest for Jed's cousin Pearl Bodine.
