Mr. Ambulance Driver

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Mr. Ambulance Driver" is a song released by The Flaming Lips originally appearing on the soundtrack of the 2005 movie Wedding Crashers and also appeared (albeit in a different mix) on their 2006 (see 2006 in music) album At War with the Mystics. The music video for this song appeared on the Flaming Lips' VOID DVD.

The music video for the song shows the band playing in a tin shack while a breakdancer with a mangled hand dances near them. It is revealed on the commentary for VOID that this man was repairing something at frontman Wayne Coyne's house. When Wayne noticed his hand, he told the story of how it got that way (this speech is retold during the musical interludes in the video).
