I'm a long time Wikipedia contributor but I often forget to log in since I'm constantly clearing out my browser's cookies or editing from other peoples computers. That makes it look like I haven't done much, but that's okay. I'm not here for credit or glory. I just want to improve the articles.
Most of my edits are limited to either grammatical and spelling corrections, or rewording of difficult passages. Lately I have joined up with some other wikipedia users to help link artist pages to MusicBrainz database entries. I am also planning on starting the Synthesizer WikiProject.
I went for quite some time without email due to the overwhelming amount of spam I received. I've since started using Gmail but the spam tide is still rising. Despite the spam problem email is still a mature communication medium with a variety of tools to make threaded communication easy to conduct and follow. For that reason I do not use my talk page and ask that you contact me via email if you need to get in touch with me. If I have commented on a page such as your talk page or a discussion page for an article, please reply there.
[edit] Projects
My current project is to add the Last.fm and MusicBrainz templates to artist articles. I also add MusicBrainz templates to relevant album articles.
I'm proposing a new WikiProject to document synthesizers and other electrophones. The use of synthesizers and electronic instruments has become more common over the last 50 years. They have played an important role in shaping the musical output of many artists, particularly those artists that concentrate solely on electronic music. Unlike general classes of instruments, such as guitars, each synthesizer is engineers to create unique sounds and therefore each is a unique instrument.
[edit] Style Sheets
If you are using the Firefox browser you can use style sheets to remove the links that lead to your talk page and the "new messages" notice. You will need to find your userContent.css file and add the following to it:
/* Remove user talk page related stuff */ @-moz-document url-prefix(http://en.wikipedia.org/) { li#pt-mytalk { display: none !important; } div.usermessage { display: none !important; } } @-moz-document url-prefix(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Mperry) { li#ca-talk { display: none !important; } }
You will need to change the appropriate URL above to point to your own talk page.

Adding MusicBrainz DB link as part of Wikipedia MusicBrainz Project. See [[WP:BRAINZ]] for more information

Hello. I have removed some of your edits that you made to the "Sierra Academy of Aeronautics" article on Wikipedia. Some of the text that you added is an exact duplicate of that from the Sierra Academy of Aeronautics web site and could be construed as copyright infringement. Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:COPY for more information. There were no revision comments left when you edited the article that gave any indication that you held the copyright to the text in question. I felt it was prudent to remove it. If you have firsthand knowledge about the school that you can add to the article in your own words, it would be most welcome.
