[edit] Red velvet Mozzetta

Users are inserting into the article a phrase that says, "the mozzetta has not been used by the pope since Paul VI". Yet, if you go to the articles of popes John Paul I and John Paul II you'll see pictures of them wearing the mozzetta.

The mozzetta that Benedict used in December 2005 was the velvet mozzetta, with the white edge. That type of mozzetta had not been seen since Paul VI. But to say that the popes have not worn any type of mozzetta since Paul VI is wrong. It is just the type of Mozzetta, (the velvet and white edge one) which was "revived" by Benedict XVI.<<Coburn_Pharr>> 07:05, 25 December 2005 (UTC)
