Mozhga

Mozhga (Russian: Можга) is a town in the Udmurt Republic, Russia, located on the Syuginka River, 97 km southwest of Izhevsk. Population: 47,119 (2002 Census); 46,049 (1989 Census).
It was founded in 1835 as a settlement around a glass works. After the October Revolution it was renamed Sovetsky (Сове́тский), and later—Krasny (Кра́сный). It was granted town status and renamed Mozhga in 1926.
